	Guyed Pre-Welded Towers

MAGNUM TOWERS offers a full line of pre-welded guyed towers. These towers range in face widths from 12 inches to 42 inches and heights up to 900 feet tall.

MAGNUM utilizes a unique web bracing scheme in its pre-welded tower line. We design and manufacture our unique M-style towers so the direction of the diagonal web member is alternated in the center of each section.

This feature is very important, especially in taller towers in which permanent axial forces in the web members are significant. The alternating brace direction eliminates progressive rotational tower twist caused by the large permanent downward force of tall guyed towers.

	The guyed tower on the right supports a wind turbine for remote site power generation over-looking the city of Reno,


	MAGNUM TOWERS also incorporates a full 360 degree fillet weld around each web member connection. This provides full fixity of the web member to the vertical tower leg member. The result is a web member that has significantly greater axial capacity than those utilizing partial fillet welding.


	MAGNUM TOWERS can provide towers with FAA white and red, hot-dip galvanized, steel black, or custom epoxy paint finishes if needed for military applications. The primary advantage of a pre-welded guyed tower is relatively low manufacturing and erection costs. Even very tall guyed pre-welded towers can be fabricated in about a week and erected in 2 to 3 days.
