MAGNUM provides a full line of pre-welded and knock-down self-supporting towers for all communication applications.    MAGNUM's self-supporting structures are used for TV, FM, AM, microwave, cellular, paging, meteorological and other applications.

Self-supporting towers are generally more expensive than guyed towers of the same height.    Self-supporting towers are often chosen where property values are high or construction space is extremely limited.

Our self-supporting towers have been installed in every soil condition including rocky mountain tops.    Several towers have been placed on roof tops in a city core area where no ground space was available for construction.

The 240 foot tall tower above and at left is four-legged with an inside climbing and transmission line support tower and has 3 work platforms located in the upper portion of the tower.    The tower supports primary emergency communications equipment for the State of California.

MAGNUM TOWERS offers both pipe leg and solid leg self-supporting towers.

The tower shown at left is primarily used for microwave communications by Southern Pacific Rail Road and is constructed of conventional pipe legs with a tapered face width.

The tower shown at the near right is constructed of a solid round leg design with a tapered face width.    Notice the relative low visibility of the solid leg tower.    These towers are sometimes painted blue to even further reduce their visibility where aesthetics are a concern.
